Sunrise and sunset in Pianosa

The beautiful sandy beach of Cala Giovanna is there for you for days at sea and relax, while for the rest of the weekend a guide from the National Park will take you to discover the protected area inside the island, wild and uninhabited. Travelers will have the opportunity to enjoy the unique nights of Pianosa, where the only source of illumination is that of the stars in the sky, and the sunrises and sunsets, visible from any point on the flat island.
VISITING RULES
The nature of Pianosa is protected by the Tuscan Archipelago National Park; there are therefore some strict rules to be respected and to keep in mind in order not to incur penalties of any kind. Bathing is permitted only in Cala Giovanna, where there is no equipped beach. If you want shade it is therefore necessary to bring a beach umbrella. The free zone and the protected zone are well delimited by the wall of the former prison (a gray reinforced concrete barrier that cannot be crossed unless accompanied by a guide). It is highly discouraged to bring dogs on the island, since they could only stay in the area of ​​the small town (NO within the protected area and NO on the free beach of Cala Giovanna). It is not allowed to go to the bar-restaurant in costume.
